Samsung Gloria tablets with windows 7

| |

It seems a new Samsung tablet device is on the way following the success of the Samsung Galaxy Tab that has really set itself up as competition for the Apple iPad. A slew of other tablet devices are also on the way including the impressive-
looking BlackBerry PlayBook from RIM and also some Acer tablets. The new device that may now be coming from Samsung has been dubbed the
Samsung Gloria and where it differs from the Galaxy Tab which has a 7-inch
screen, is that the Gloria will apparently have a 10-inch screen, according to Vlad
Savov over on Engadget, sourced from Blogee.net. Also the Galaxy Tab was an Android device whereas the Gloria will run on Windows 7

The current information is that the Samsung Gloria will also have a slide-out
QWERTY keyboard. This is very much unconfirmed news but if the device
actually comes to fruition the release is scheduled for March or April 2011. You
can see a concept photo of how the device might eventually look on the
Engadget link above. Over on itechtalk.com, sourced from newlaunches.com, Abhinaya also reports on the Samsung Gloria and adds that a mouse pad will be
on one of the sides of the device. What are your thoughts on this possible new device? Are you surprised that
after the success of the Galaxy Tab, Samsung might release another tablet
running on Windows 7 instead? We 'd be interested in your thoughts so please comment your views.
